IAF Announces Donation Pledge Drive for Familes Forward

This winter we are asking for donations to a local food pantry to help out in these tough times. With our federal government cutting off SNAP benefits alongside a general shut down, the need is greater now and doesn't look to get better soon. We're the largest atheist group in Iowa and I think we can and should do more to support our fellow human beings.

Since we're also interested in results and tackling things scientifically, we have reached out to food pantries and found that while food donations are great, cash goes far further than food items - it doesn't go bad and they can get better bulk deals than we can!



I am asking for anyone who can to donate to IAF with anything tagged as a direct donation going towards food pantry donations.

As a bonus, an anonymous member has agreed to match the first $1000 donated towards this food funding drive! Lets get this started, with the fundraising drive ending the end of this month!
