Activism

Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers seek to normalize atheism, protect our rights, and strengthen our community through direct advocacy, protests, and other forms of political engagement.
We seek to:

• Defend the separation of religion and government

• Protect our civil rights (and those of other minority groups)

• Promote evidence-based, secular policy that benefits everyone equally

Through fearless activism, we will:

• Raise the visibility of atheists

• Knit closer ties with other community organizations with whom we share humanist goals

• Build a better world
